TO SANDRA'S FAMILY- I JUST WANTED YA'LL TO KNOW I THOUGHT A LOT ABOUT SANDRA AS A GOOD NEIGHBOR AND FRIEND FOR SO MANY YEARS NOW. I WAS JUST OFF THE PHONE I FOUND OUT LATELY TWO DAYS AGO BEFORE SHE PASSED. SHE HAD CALLED ME ABOUT HER HEARING MY DAD PASSING JUST A COUPLE OF WEEKS EARLIER AND WHY I HADN'T CALLED HER THIS YEAR ABOUT ANY VEGETABLES I HAD TO SELL HER. I TOLD HER I HAD BEEN STAYING AND WATCHING MY DAD THROUGH HIS LAST SEVERAL MONTHS SUFFERING FROM COPD AND BREATHING TROUBLES. DAD AND SANDRA ARE BOTH IN A BETTER PLACE NOW.. I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THEM AGAIN.
AS I WAS GOING UP THE HIGHWAY TODAY ON MY TRACTOR I WAS LOOKING UP TOWARDS SANDRA'S HOUSE AND TWO OF HER CHILDREN WE'RE COMING OUT INTO THE HIGHWAY, SO I SALUTED THEM WHILE RIDING ON THE TRACTOR TO GO BUSHHOGGING ON THE RIVER. IT'S BEEN A FEW SAD WEEKS IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD AS MOST OF OUR OLD TIMERS HAVE LEFT PEA RIDGE TO GONE UP ON A HIGHER MOUNTAIN IN HEAVEN. I'M GONG TO MISS SANDRA AND MY DAD FOR SURE, BUT KNOWING WHERE THEY ARE AT UNDER GODS WINGS AND THROUGH THE PEARLY GATES, I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THEM AGAIN--RANDY AND BETTY COLSTON
