Charles and I were good friends when we were in the eight grade at South Habersham. We both went separate ways after that year, and lost contact with each other. We reconnected several years ago through FB. We would talk about old memories and share "war stories" over the telephone. I said many times I was going to make a trip to visit him in Cornelia. I am sorry to say that trip never happened, but I will be thinking about Charles and his family in the days ahead. Rest in peace Charles, I know you have lived a good life.
